Clinical is the unit students walk in thinking they already know — everyone has a self-diagnosed disorder — so Day 1 takes the checklist away before it hands one out: the Four Ds, the continuum model, Rosenhan's pseudopatients, and why the DSM's own labels draw criticism. After that, the unit runs on vignettes: read a case and argue a diagnosis (the case-study activity threads Days 2–5), then write one — the fictional-character vignette on Day 6, Diagnosis Day on Days 7–8. Reading cases into diagnoses and writing cases out of disorders are the same skill in both directions, and it's the one the exam's scenario FRQs reward. Treatment rides inside each cluster — exposure for anxiety and OCD, SSRIs for mood — rather than waiting for a chapter-end block. Keep the source's own caution in view all eight days: Intern's Syndrome. This material is personal.
